Witan Pacific aims to grow its dividend in real terms over time, subject to the underlying trend in Witan Pacific's net income. Witan Pacific has substantial levels of revenue reserves available to smooth the effect of temporary fluctuations in dividends from investments, where this is viewed as prudent and beneficial for shareholders. Shareholders agreed at the 2013 AGM to amend the Articles of Association to permit the distribution of Capital Reserve as dividends. Witan Pacific has stated that this is to confer flexibility in pursuing its investment objectives and that it would be the norm for dividend payments to be funded from revenue over the cycle. Witan Pacific aims to increase the dividend per share ahead of UK inflation rates and makes twice yearly dividend payments to shareholders.
