The Board of Witan Pacific, the £158m* pan-Asian investment trust, confirms the appointment of Diane Seymour-Williams as a non-executive Director of the Company.  Mrs Seymour-Williams has an investment career spanning some 30 years, much of which has been focussed on managing Asian equity portfolios.

Currently Head of Client and Business Strategy at Lloyd George Management, an independent investment manager specialising in Asia and Global emerging markets equities, Mrs Seymour-Williams worked at Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Asset Management for 23 years holding a number of positions including Head of Asian Equities and CEO and CIO Asia, based in Singapore.

Gillian Nott, Chairman of Witan Pacific Investment Trust said, “Diane has extensive experience of managing pan-Asian equity portfolios. Such expertise will be invaluable to the Board and will complement the existing skills of the Trust’s other non-executive Directors.”

Mrs Seymour Williams holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University.
